This song is about Tanya Morgan’s breakup. I was living in Brooklyn at the time and I’m pretty sure I wrote it on the A train when I was headed to work. Getting Ilyas to discuss his reason for leaving the group was pretty healing for me. This is one of the last songs I worked on before ceasing all work on the project because the space my head was in felt very different from where it was when I began working on it.
